I am honoured to let you know that this afternoon I was sworn in by Governor of Victoria Linda Dessau AC as the Minister for Creative Industries in the Andrews Labor Government. This is in addition to my roles as Assistant Treasurer, Minister for Government Services and Minister for Regulatory Reform.
I look forward to continuing the stellar work done in this arena by my colleague Martin Foley MP and championing Victorian creativity across the arts, culture, screen and design sectors.
Victoria’s creative sector has been hit hard by the pandemic. We will work together to revive an industry which connects, employs and includes Victorians across our society, our communities and our economy and is a vital part of our state’s future.
Congratulations to my colleague, Ingrid Stitt MP (Member for Western Metropolitan Region) who joins Cabinet as Minister for Workplace Safety and Minister for Early Childhood. Ingrid is a passionate and highly accomplished advocate and she will represent the interests of these sectors with great energy and integrity. ... See more
